To get a document apostilled or attested for foreign Embassy in Washington State, the document must comply with the number of the set requirements. Vital records such as: Birth certificates, marriage certificates, single status, divorce certificates and death records must be recently issued certified copies to be eligible for WA Apostille. Diplomas, transcripts, powers of attorney, grade reports, passport and driver license copies, statutory declarations and other non recordable documents must be properly notarized by a Washington Notary Public before Washington Apostille certificate may be issued by the office of Washington Secretary of State.
Business recordable certificates must be requested certified with apostille in a single request. If the document trades hands it is no longer eligible for WA Apostille.
