Apostille Background Check

Different countries require different background checks to be apostilled. Spain for instance will accept state issued criminal history record check where as Italy and Israel will require FBI background check with apostille to be presented.  

To get the FBI background check the applicant should submit the applicant on the FBI webpage and follow the given instructions. The report may be obtained as a secure PDF which is perfectly fine for apostille. 

State background check apostille

State level background checks and identity history checks are a little different. In most cases the background check from a state law enforcement agency must be duly notarized to be eligible for apostille. In each the process of getting a background check is different. For example, for the Florida background check it is important to obtain notarized results from FDLE, whereas in New York the result need to come with letter for apostille. 

FBI apostille

Apostille for the FBI background check is processed on the Federal level of the US Government namely the United States Department of State Office of Authentications, whereas the State is issued reports are apostilled in the state of their origin. FBI apostille services are offered for physical and digital results alike. For expedited processing we recommend getting digital results, as they can be downloaded and emailed for apostille processing.
